Hangi stuffing

On the 19 of march, we walked to Whare Manaaki to make a hangi we had walking there and back when we got there we got told what needed to be done and who wanted to do what everyone got to do something some people got to dig the hole and the others got to do the meat and cut the vegetables and I got to make the stuffing with some other people.

One of the foods we prepared for the hangi was stuffing.  To make stuffing, you need to buy bread, break it into little pieces. I was one of the people that was breaking up the bread into little pieces there were about ten people breaking the bread and one person throw a whole

piece of bread into the pot and you need to buy butter and melt it until it's all melted and buy onions cut it into small pieces which took a long time because we had to feed 60 people after you break the bread into little pieces melt the butter and cut the onions you put all three ingredients into a big pot and mix it all with your hand once you've mixed it all you put the pot in the hole that people dug and you put cloth and then you but dirt and then you wait for it to cook it.
